Project Chariot: Oral History Resources

ORAL HISTORY INDEX

The Oral History Index is a text file of the current holdings in the oral history collection of the Elmer E. Rasmuson Library, University of Alaska Fairbanks. Most of the recordings listed are available for patron use. If the citation includes the entry "RELEASE ON FILE" or "RESTRICTIONS: NONE", the recording is available for check out. If the recording is one that could be of great use to you and the citation does not include one of these entries, please contact the Oral History Office, Alaska and Polar Regions Department, Elmer E. Rasmuson Library for further information.

To request copies of a recording, please contact the Oral History Office. Our number is (907) 474-6672. Or write:

ATTN: Lucinda Taylor Oral History Office Rasmuson Library - APR University of Alaska Fairbanks PO Box 756808 Fairbanks AK 99775-6808

Be sure to include the H##-### of each tape you are requesting to borrow as that is our key to location.

New recordings are being added to the collection daily.

We are aware that the index contains many spelling errors, especially when it comes to personal names. Any corrections should be sent to the address above and we will do our best to correct any errors brought to our attention. Thank you for your help in this matter.

I would be happy to answer any questions regarding the index and the oral history collection in general. In addition to the phone number and address above, I can be reached at FNLAT1@aurora.alaska.edu.
